Highlander

“The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection.”
Pablo Picasso

Mountain goats are not true goats—but they are close relatives. These surefooted beasts inhabit many of North America’s most spectacular alpine environments. They often can be seen traversing sheer cliffs with little trouble. This painting is 24″ x 30″ and created in acrylic and mixed media on gessoed board.

If you want more information on this or any other paintings on this site please leave a message on my contact page.

Rocket Man

rocket man

Ready for launch, hence the name “Rocket Man”. The blue jay couldn’t be more famous in Canada as the face of the base ball team Blue Jays. This little guy is known for being a raucous bird and could have been named “Racket Man”. It is 12″x18″ and done in acrylic and mixed media on gessoed board.

Royal Raptor

royal raptor

This little guy is the smallest raptor in North America (American Kestrel). He is my favorite of all the raptors. Not much bigger than a large sparrow, hence its nickname “Sparrow Hawk”. It is 18″x24″ and done in acrylic and mixed media on gessoed board.

I will post all my newest works in this blog and find them in my gallery.

“Art is never finished, only abandoned” Leonardo Da Vinci

Well I am back in my studio creating art. It has been a rather long hiatus (6 years), and I couldn’t be happier being back creating again. Stay tuned for new paintings on this page, or visit my gallery. I should have a new image within the next few days.

As promised a new image titled: “Seek and you will Find”. A favorite subject of mine, dogs. Created in acrylic and mixed media on 30″ x 40″ gessoed board.
